In real life, we’re not always dealt the perfect hand. Relationships, careers and finances can all complicate life, leaving us unsettled, frustrated, empty and exhausted. What if you could turn the life you have into the life you want? What if life could be more meaningful and filled with real joy? What if you could develop habits that would make every day of your life better?

The Way of the Cross Prayer Trail

Church of the Resurrection's West Campus has developed a 1-mile walking trail for use year round as a place of prayer and reflection. Along the trail is an experience simiar to the "Stations of the Cross." This "Way of the Cross" is a modern adaptation of an old Christian tradition, dating back to the fifth century. The fourteen traditional Stations of the Cross mark the passages from the moment Jesus was condemned to death until his burial in the tomb. Church of the Resurrection has added a 15th for reflecting on the church’s namesake, “The Resurrection of the Christ.” The resources here could be as inspiration and content to create a similar experience. Included are the double-sided "trail markers," the text for each station (used for the electronic version found at www.cor.org/west/prayertrail for people to follow using an electronic device), and a printable booklet for people who prefer to use a hardcopy version.
